Rachel Bitecofer is a political scientist and election forecaster turned political strategist. She came to prominence after predicting the size of the Democrats’ rare “Blue Wave” in the 2018 midterms. Her interviews and analyses have been featured by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Salon, Politico, CNN and MSNBC and many other prominent news sources. Rachel writes "The Cycle" on Substack. She has worked with Democratic Party candidates and organizations, currently including the DNC and a number of state parties. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oregon and her Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Georgia. NOTE: Her book, Hit ‘Em Where It Hurts: How to Save Democracy by Beating Republicans at their Own Game, will be available for sale and to have signed after the program.
